Serious? Oh my gosh, that would be so cool! Hai Ern gasps. Yeah, sure! Hara replies. Taemin is a really cute guy... Hai Ern is chatting with her newfound best friend on the phone. Ok, so we'll meet later? Hara asks, and the reply immediately comes: Yeah! Once Hai Ern put down the phone, she grins excitedly.(I know this is a little creepy, sorry...) She is elated at the fact that she will be able to meet Hara's best friend. We might all become the best of friends! she thinks.
Hara scrolls through her contacts and finds the contact: "Taeminnie" She presses "dial", puts the phone to her ear and listens to it go "drruuuu~ druuu druuuu~". Finally, Taemin picks up the phone. Yobeoseyo? Oh! Hara noona! Yes? Taemin cheerfully answers. Ah! Taemin ah~ Um... Are you free later? I'd like you to come with me to the park! To...er.... meet my friend, Hai Ern.... Hara mumbles shyly. She had never really asked Taemin out before. Usually, it was Taemin that would invite her out. Taemin replies, Sure! Of course I'd come! So I'll meet you at the park? Wow... This park is huge... Hai Ern is thrilled, yet she can't help but feel worried. Just then she hears her name being called out, and instantly she turns around. Uh? She sees Hara, looking glamourous as usual, and a boy about 18 years old running towards her. So that's Taemin? she asks herself, dazed. Ernie! I'd like you to meet Minnie, my best friend. Minnie, this is Hai Ern. Taemin glares at Hara for calling him Minnie, then turns to look at Hai Ern. Oh, so you're Hai Ern? Hara tells me a lot about you... He smiles, charmingly. Her fringe covers her eyes, and Hongki sweeps it away. He gives Jean a small peck on her forehead, then stares at her for a while. Everything was silent, until Jean was awoken by Hongki's ringtone. Jean is startled and opens her eyes to see Hongki staring at her. Err... Hongki? Your phone's ringing... she tells Hongki. Hongki picks up the phone, embarrased.

While Jean and Hongki were enjoying their day out, Tiffanie was stuck at school. She had been called back for supplementary lessons during the week-long holiday. I wish that time would go faster... she sighs, lazily scribbling down whatever the teacher is writing. Finally, the school bell rings. Tiffanie pulls herself off her chair and says goodbye to her teacher. Casually she drags her feet as she walks unhurriedly towards the bus stop. She stares at the rocky, uneven road, kicking the pebbles around as she goes along. Without warning, someone knocks into her. Tiffanie is taken aback, and falls onto the ground, dropping her bags and books everywhere. Oh! I'm so sorry! the person says apologetically. It's alright, I'm okay. Tiffanie replies. She looks up and sees a clumsy-looking yet adorable boy, about a few years older than her. They both stare into each others' eyes for a while. Uh? It's...it's... that girl! the boy stutters under his breath. HYUN CHEOL! A shout breaks the awkward silence. Yeah? the boy perks up, then looks around. Oh, hyung-nim! He turns back, obviously embarrassed, then frantically picks up the books on the road and shoves them into Tiffanie's arms. After doing this, he stands up, dusts himself and runs to the guy that had called him. Park Hyun Cheol! Where have you been? We have been looking for you! the guy chastises. Sorry Su Hoon hyung.... I was just taking a walk... Hyun Cheol says guiltily, bowing his head in regret. Tiffanie, on the other hand, is quite astonished by what had just happened. After a few minutes of staring at what seemed like an elder brother reprimanding his little brother, Tiffanie shrugs nonchalantly and walks on.

Back at home, Tiffanie is writing in her diary. She twirls her pen around, thinking hard. Then she starts to write.
Dear Diary,
Many things happened today. First of all, I went to school. Had supplementary from 9am-12pm. Boring. Then I walked out of school after supplementary lesson. As I was walking towards the bus stop, this cute guy bumped into me.
Tiffanie smiles as she remembers that moment. Then she continues writing.
He helped me pick up my books... Then he walked away, because someone called him. His name was...er.... Park Hyun Cheol. Yes. And his elder brother(I think), the one that had called him, was... Su Hoon. I don't know his surname, though. Ah well, but at least today I met a cute guy. Oh, I'll have to go to bed now. My mum's yelling at me. Good night!

Jean and Tiffanie finally find out the names of their crushes! Jean's is Hongki and Tiffanie's is Yoseob. Hongki and Jean become good friends and they chat a lot. When Jean is at home packing her bags, getting ready to fly to Korea, Hongki calls and asks her out on a date.

The throbbing of her heart beat up to her throat and her damp skin sticking against the bed sheets made it impossible for her to fall back to sleep. Still in a hazy state, Jean sits up from a bed and looks at her clock. It says: WEDNESDAY. 6:48AM . She scrambles up and walks to the bathroom. Mechanically, she turns the knob and water comes pouring down instantly. The running water jet soothes her and makes her feel calm, less anxious. The water sloshing around her feet reminds her of her dream...
Hongki piggybacks Jean while walking around the shore, barefooted. The waves gently come and go, and Jean is mesmerised. After what seemed like eternity, they sat down together on the soft sand, hand in hand, and watch the sunset together. The sky looks like an abstract painting, with hues of red, pink, orange and yellow. Jean had never seen such a beautiful sunset before.
When she is done, she picks up her soft towel and walks back into her room, leaving wet footmarks on the marble floor. She opens her wardrobe stuffed with clothes, sits on her bed and stares, dazed. Finally, she gives up. She combs her hair, throws on a hoodie, wears her favourite pair of jeans and is done dressing up. So much for dolling up nicely, she thinks. Jean's house is deserted as both her parents had gone to work and her sister went to a friend's house for a sleepover. She goes to the kitchen and finds some cookies in the cupboard and a carton of milk in the fridge. Satisfied with her find, she plops herself into a chair and starts to munch on her cookies. Just as she is polishing off the last cookie, her phone starts to ring again. This time, Jean answers right away. Hello? she asks. HELLOOOOO!!! I'M COMING TO YOUR HOUSE RIGHT NOW!! shouts Hongki into the speaker. Jean giggles and says, At 7:30AM in the morning? And besides, how do you even know where my house is? Hongki is silent for a while. He slaps himself and says, Aish. I'm such an idiot. Where's your house? It's at *ADDRESS CENSORED BECAUSE WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO STALK JEAN*. Jean states bluntly. Ok! I've got it! Hongki replies, then puts down the phone. Jean chuckles and places her handphone back on the table.

Hongki brings Jean to the mall. They have a fun time playing at the arcade, taking neoprints, racing each other in virtual cars and so on. While they are playing yet another game, Hongki excuses himself for a while. Jean, being very engrossed in the game, does not take note of his disappearance. Hongki comes back soon enough. He taps on Jean's shoulder and she turned around, to see Hongki holding a cute little bear. This is for you, he says shyly. Jean blushes and thanks Hongki. They leave the mall, hand in hand...

Jean, Hai Ern and Tiffanie get through the audition and are delighted at the fact that they will be going to Korea. They introduce themselves to their teammate, Hara. Hai Ern finds Hara very beautiful, yet friendly. They become good friends. Also, Tiffanie and Jean both meet a cute guy, and they are mesmerized by these boys' good looks. Who are they? YOSEOB !!!!!!!! AAAAAHHH !!!!!!!!! YOOOOOSSSEEEOOOBBB !!!!!!!!!!! scream the crazed fans. So his name... It's Yoseob... Tiffanie mumbles. She felt her heart thumping even harder. One daring fangirl of his walks up towards him, then runs back to the crowd. Yoseob takes no notice and continues to press random buttons on his handphone. He stands up and shrugs, sighing as he walks towards where Tiffanie is standing. He's coming this way! Should I give way? Should I talk to him? A thousand thoughts rush through her head. Yoseob keeps coming. Ack! I don't know! I want to get to know him, but... Just as Yoseob and Tiffanie are 5 inches apart, Yoseob suddenly makes a sharp turn to his left and walks into the Mens' toilet. Tiffanie smacks her forehead, cursing at her wild imagination. She feels faint from the anger and the embarrasment, and also because the crowd is surrounding her, trying to catch a glimpse of what Yoseob was doing in the toilet. How perverted, Tiffanie thinks. What else could he be doing in the toilet? (if you are eating or going to eat, I'm sorry!) Suddenly, Tiffanie trips and collapses onto the ground, and everyone around her disperses quickly. Just then, a suave boy comes by and squats down right in front of her. Miss, are you okay? he asks. Wake up! Thinking that it is Yoseob that is patting her gently on the shoulder, Tiffanie's eyes flick open immediately. When she sees that it is not her dream guy, she sighs in disappointment and gets up quickly, dragging herself along the corridor.
The silence makes Jean feel uneasy. She takes this chance to strike up a conversation. Sooo.... The weather's pretty good today... Hongki replies, Yeah.... Great for the cactuses...
You watch Nigahiga too?? Jean bursts out. The two stare at each other for a while, before shouting in unison, BROMANCE! They explode into peals of laughter and start chitchatting, laughing all the way. What's your name? he asks. My name is... Jean. You? I'm Hong Ki. he answers. They talk some more, then exchange phone numbers. HONG KI AND TAEMIN! PLEASE COME HERE! screams the loudspeaker. I have to go now, but I'll call you! Jean smiles yet again. Okay!
Finally, the judges call out Jean, Hai Ern and Tiffanie. Tiffanie walks towards Jean and Hai Ern awkwardly, while they are still busy informing each other of what had happened. Congratulations girls, you have won a trip to Korea. You will be forming a team with Hara. I expect you've met her already? The girls nod. Good. The 10 of you winners will have to get your bags packed and we will meet you at the airport next week on Tuesday! Tiffanie starts to scream, and Hai Ern and Jean join in. The judges continue. You will be living together in the dorm for 7 months. During that period of time, we will train you to become professional singers and dancers... So look forward to it! Hai Ern is so happy, tears of joy slowly roll down her cheeks. Ernie! Don't cry! You should be happy! Come on! Smile! her friends comfort Hai Ern. Looking at her friends, Hai Ern breaks into a big smile and hugs them. Come on, says Jean. Let's go home...

Mum! Sis! I'm home! Jean cries out. Jean's mother and sister rush out of their rooms and crowd around her. So, how was the audition? Sabrina asks. Jean puts on a sad face. No? Mum asks. Silence. Then Jean pulls out the brochure that was given to her by the judges. It read: "Congratulations Jean! You have been selected to go too Korea for training! " Sabrina screams and her mother hugs Jean. But... I will be gone... For 7 months... Jean sighs. She has mixed feelings about going to Korea because she will not get to see her sister there. Aww, that's alright! We'll video call you! It's only 7 months! Sabrina encourages. Then you can tell me what it's like over there! And when you come back, you'll be a star! Hearing this, Jean cheers up. Maybe it won't be so bad after all...

Jean, Hai Ern and Tiffanie are the best of friends. They stumble across an advertisment claiming that there is a competition to make them stars. They sign up for it and practise hard, then entering the audition. The results are finally out, but which 4 girls did the judges pick to fly to Korea for the next round of eliminations?
AND THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED IN CHAPTER ONE!!! :D Now let's start chapter 2~~

The silence is driving me crazy! Why can't they speak already? Jean whispers to her friends, and the three of them giggle under their breath. Finally, Tiffany breaks into a wide grin and shouts, CONGRATULATIONS TO JEAN LEONG, LIM HAI ERN, TIFFANIE LIM AND.....
The remaining contestants cross their fingers and hold their breath, hoping and wishing that they will be the last contestant that gets through the audition. GOO HARA!! shouts Tiffany, Jessica and Krystal together. You lucky ladies are coming with us... TO KOREA!! Jean, Hai Ern and Tiffanie are over the moon. They squeal in delight and bounce up and down, happy that their lifelong dream had come true. As the judges go on and on about the K-STAR Academy and congratulating the winning contestants, it suddenly dawns on Jean to find out who that "Goo Hara" girl, the fourth member of their group, was. She grabs her friends and they look around. Finally, they spot someone wearing a pretty pink shirt with silver diamonds displaying the words "GOO HARA" on the back. They tap on her shoulder and she turns around. Yes? She asks with a beautiful smile. Her dazzling beauty stuns the girls for a while. Oh um... hi. My name's Jean and these are my friends, Hai Ern and Tiffanie. Jean mutters shyly. So you're the girls that I'm going to be in a group with? Great! she exclaims, jumping up and down. I'm Hara. It's nice to get to know you! Hai Ern is amazed. Hara's long brown hair is soft and smooth, her almond-shaped eyes are sparkling, her skin is flawless and she is just of the right height and size. The clothes she wears are up-to-the-minute, trendy and look great on her. Hara seems friendly, Hai Ern thinks. Maybe I should talk to her? So she stepped forward and said, Ehm, hi. I'm Hai Ern. Nice to meet you. Hara grins, displaying all her pearly white teeth. Oh yay! Let's be friends! Hara gives Hai Ern a big hug. The two start to chat. They laugh and joke, having lots of fun. The two become good friends instantly.
Kyaa!!! It's him! AAAHHH!!!!! It's HIM!! Do I look okay?!! Do you think he will notice me??!! Oh, he's coming towards us!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! The air is filled with screams of excited females. Tiffanie wonders why they are all screaming, and out of curiosity, she follows the females to find out who this guy whom they are all so excited about. Just then, she noticed a guy with a huge black cap on, and this covers half of his face, making it impossible to see his real identity. He has a faded tattoo on his arm and that particular arm is more muscular than the other. He walks towards a bench, sits down and fiddles with his handphone. How does he see with that cap on? Tiffanie asks herself. As if he had heard what Tiffanie had said, he takes off his cap and shakes his head. His silky black hair waves around, and then parts to the side of his head perfectly, as if by magic. It was then that Tiffanie saw his face. He was chubby, his eyes were big and round and his skin, although with some flaws, was milky white. Tiffanie took one look at him and was enchanted by his adorable looks. Her heart thumps against her chest profusely, just as if it wants to escape from her body. Who is this guy? Why do I feel so... so.... I can't describe this feeling...
Meanwhile, Jean is sitting on a bench on her own. She sips her strawberry milk slowly, savoring the taste while she reads a book of fairy tales. She sighs and flips the page, continuing to read. Out of the blue, a hand reaches out to tap her shoulder. She turns around, and sees a cute-looking guy wearing a trench coat, a polo shirt, skinny jeans and a tie. His blonde hair shines in the light. Jean is mesmerized. May I sit next to you? he asks politely with a slight smile on his face. Jean stares at him, frozen for a while. a smilingangel production PROJECT TWO: Chapter One-The Audition Saturday, November 20, 2010 // back to top? Hellooooo~~ I'm baaaaaack~~ This time, I've got a request from my good friend Tiffanie. She asked me to write a romance fanfic, starring Hai Ern, Jean and herself. Not to forget, Hyunseung and Yoseob from Beast and Karam and Mikka from D-NA, as well as Hongki from FTI and Taemin from SHINee, will be in this fanfic. She also suggested that this story should be in chapters to make it more exciting. In this fanfic, let's just pretend Hai Ern, Jean and Tiffanie are 14 years old and the rest are whatever age they are now and not pop stars yet and they are from Singapore to make the story more relevant. So this will be the first romance fanfic posted! Enjoy!
THIS IS THE START____________________________________________________________________________
Jean! Tiffanie! Look at this! Hai Ern exclaims as she points excitedly to a poster on a wall. Curious, the three girls crowd around the wall. Oh my gosh! Tiffanie gasps as she reads the first few sentences on the poster.
"K-STAR ACADEMY-YOUR CHANCE TO BE THE NEXT KOREAN POP STAR! If you think you can sing, dance and act well, on the 3rd of July, come on down to IMM for an audition! You can bring your friends along. No experience is required." The girls' eyes widen as they continue to read. "If you are one of the lucky few to get chosen by our judges, you will get the chance to fly to Korea in a luxury airplane! So what are you waiting for? Sign up now at www.k-staracademy.net!" After reading this, they start to scream. Busy people walking down the street are thinking, Who are these random crazy girls squealing in the middle of a busy street? But no matter. Let's get on with the story.
So the girls quickly rush back to Tiffanie's house as fast as they can, as they want to be among the first few to sign up. Found it! Hmmmm... K-Star's audition in Singapore... ermm.... sign up.... Ok! I've put in our particulars. They've given us the audition time: 9:45am. Let's start practicing! Jean says.
Although the audition is 3 months away, the girls meet up everyday after school and on weekends to practise and discuss on what they will do on the day of the audition. They argue, debate, vote talk and have lots of fun. Finally that day they had all been looking forward to came...
Can Jean, Hai Ern and Tiffanie please come forward! shouts the first judge. The three nervous young girls step forward. They hold back a scream as they look at the 5 judges: Jessica and Tiffany from SNSD, L.Joe from Teen Top and Amber and Krystal from f(x)! You may start. Jessica says gently with a smile. Then the music starts to play...
"No ttaeme jakkuman nae gasumi~ No ttaeme jakkuman nae momi~ Niga nal bol ttae mada~ Ni saenggak hal ttae mada~ No ttaeme jakkuman nae gasumi~ No oh no oh~ No oh oh I can't breathe~"
While the music plays, the three girls dance gracefully and energetically, giving it all they got. When the song finished, they bowed shyly and received rounds of applause. They were told to have their lunch and come back 45 minutes later. We did it! Hai Ern exclaims as they all give each other a high-five. They set off to a nice little Japanese restaurant and satisfied their growling tummies there. Then, with mixed feelings of excitement and anxiety, they went back to the audition stage for their results.
Alright! L.Joe shouts. Are you all here? We have decided on the results of this audition. Amber continues, It was a tough decision, really. We had to choose 10 contestants out of the 348 contestants that applied. Soooo... here are the 10 lucky winners that will be going to Korea!
Together, Tiffany and Krystal read out aloud: Jang Hyunseung and Yang Yoseob, you will be in one group. Lee Hongki and Lee Taemin, in another group. Lee Su Hoon and Park Hyun Cheol, in another group. Last but not least, we have the girls' group, which consists of 4 beautiful young ladies. They are....
The audience is dreadfully silent. The judges look solemn. The female contestants are all dying to know who those 4 lucky girls are. Want to find out who they are? Stay tuned for the next chapter!

Hey guys! I have finally posted my first fanfiction in this blog. I know, it's not really great but i worked hard ! hope you all like it ! enjoy!THIS IS THE START_____________________________________________________________________________
Leanne ran and ran. She could not believe what she had just witnessed. She felt sorry for that short guy, who looked 3 years older than her, yet just 8 centimeters taller. He was charming and handsome though, and Leanne could not figured out why that lady had refused his proposal. She glanced back at her watch, mumbling something about being terribly late, then picking up speed. With her heart thumping fast, she darted around, only to find her self back to where she had been at first. It's that guy again, I thought to myself. He was still standing there, his head bowed down. The bouquet of white roses he had been cuddling so lovingly had fallen pathetically on the rough ground. Cautiously, Leanne walked towards him, and at once his face lit up, yet showed signs of disappointment when he realised it was not that lady. He wiped his face hurriedly with his hands and acted normal. Are you okay? asked Leanne. Yeah, I'm fine... he said. This man... I feel as if I've known him since I was 5... I can talk to him freely... I guess that's just my imagination... Leanne thought.
Guy: So, what's your name?
Leanne: My name's Leanne.
Guy: I see. Um... how was your day?
Leanne: Fine. Yours?
Guy: It was alright, I guess... Fansigning is really tiring, but Kibum helped me out a lot.
Upon hearing this, Leanne pauses. Fansigning? Kibum? What do you mean? He replies with a laugh. Yeah! Haven't you heard of our new song, 'Lucifer'? At this moment, the pieces of information in Leanne's head clicked together like a jigsaw puzzle. So this guy is from that Korean group everyone in school had been talking about! Leanne had never been in a scenario like this before. She was not a big fan of Korean pop music, as she was the type of girl who preferred being alone than mixing around with others and updating herself with the latest trends. She knew about this group, yet had never seen any pictures of or heard any songs by them. Y-y-you're from that SHINee group? Then, that lady I saw... She was Sekyung? She refused your proposal.... Because of the antis.... You.... You are... Leanne stammers. Then came the reply: Kim Jonghyun...
